At St Nicholas we have a dedicated and experienced team who, with the support of our governors, ensure that St Nicholas is a happy, vibrant and thriving school where children Learn, Achieve and Grow, Together.
Through our bespoke Global Explorer Curriculum we are committed to educating the ‘whole child’ and value every child for their unique gifts. We provide a safe environment to promote their development academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We aim to make learning fun, exciting and purposeful providing memorable experiences which ignite curiosity, inspire ambition and build confidence.

Hedgehog class were having a hoot this morning as Mrs Bales attempted to make a jam sandwich using the children's instructions. At one point Mrs Hill nearly ended up covered in jam while taking photos. Thank you for saving me with your instructions Hedgehogs!!!
What a fantastic day. Hare class did a wonderful job of leading our Harvest festival followed by 2 cake sales for Macamillan as we had so many cake donations. Also a massive thank you for all the Harvest donations which we will be passing on to the Old Sarum pantry. What an incredibly generous community!!

We offer a range of musical experiences for our children within our music programme from performing in shows at school and in the local community to singing in the cathedral or forming an Irock band. We offer a range of music lessons from expert teachers. Please contact the school office for more information.
We would like to invite you to our McMillan Coffee morning which is always a lovely opportunity to socialise with other parents and staff. Donations of cakes either home baked or shop bought would be gratefully received. Donations can be left at the school office on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.
Celebration Worship is every week on a Friday at 14:40 in the school hall. All welcome! Badgers will be attending from today.
Owl class parents are invited to attend worship tomorrow at 09:00 in the school hall. Owl class are presenting our first child led 'Change Makers,' worship where they will be being Courageous Advocates about a matter that is important to them: Taking Education for Granted. This is linking to our recent work on learning about the Child of Hope charity. Thank you to everyone who supported us. We have raised £149 so far towards our £160 target. What a fantastic way to end the week a massive thank you to the PTA and teachers for organising the event and to Kettle and Crumb for providing the refreshments. So far we have raised over £1000 together for the PTA which will support enrichment projects for the children at St Nicholas this year! #wearefamily

Children have been learning about 'Child of Hope' in Uganda today and how we can support the charity to continue to provide education to children there. Ks1 loved making numbers in nature and Hare class have been making beads for bracelets from magazines. We are asking each child to donate £1 if they can to child of hope via our Just giving page.
