Hares Class visit The Living Rainforest! What an amazing day Hares Class had on their visit to The Living Rainforest! From discovering fascinating rainforest plants and animals to learning more about the incredible habitats found around the world, the children had a fantastic time exploring, asking questions and putting their learning into action. Year 6 Take on Bikeability! This week, our fantastic Year 6 pupils at St Nicholas CofE Primary School took part in Bikeability training! Bikeability helps children develop the skills and confidence they need to ride their bikes safely on today's roads. From learning how to carry out safety checks to mastering road awareness and safe riding techniques, our pupils embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and maturity. We were incredibly proud of how well Year 6 represented our school. They listened carefully, showed great determination, supported one another and demonstrated excellent road safety skills throughout the training. A huge well done to every child involved! A brilliant first week back! The school has been full of energy, laughter and learning this week as we begin a new academic year together. A huge well done to Badger Class for settling in so positively and showing such enthusiasm from day one. You should all be very proud! Aspirational day today! Key stage 1 enjoyed role playing a variety of careers from being a vet, a builder, working in a post office and garden centre. Children in Key Stage 2 thought about leadership and how to be a role model as well as learning how they would change and grow as they get older.

'The best kids show I've ever seen!' Was how one parent described the final performance of the Adventures of SuperStan. We are enormously proud of all of our Ks2 performers. You were amazing! #wearecreative

A massive thank you to the The Bridge Youth Project who treated the Year 6s to a visit from an ice cream van yesterday as well as gifting them bags full of goodies to celebrate their transition to secondary school. We are so blessed to work with such a generous organisation. Thank you to our Chaplain Daniel for the wonderful surprise.

Year 5 are having a fantastic time watching the Life of Christ at Wintershall Estate. A really special trip and an opportunity to join the actors on stage and be part of the action!

Our annual DSAT year 6 Leavers Service was held last week at Salisbury Cathedral. A lovely opportunity for our leavers to reflect on their journey so far and to consider how to continue to shine their light brightly as they move on to their secondary schools.

This term our Big Ideas is Aspirational and our Christian Value is Thankfulness. This encourages us to reflect on the year we have had and to look forward with excitement towards the future.
