St. Nicholas CE Primary School, Governing Body

A very warm welcome to St Nicholas, a small and friendly school where governors, staff, families and pupils work together to look after each other and keep the school a safe and nurturing space for everyone within the St Nicholas Family to enjoy education.

As the governing body of St Nicholas, our job is to support the senior leaders in school with every aspect of learning, behaviour, culture and well-being, approaching all our discussions from a strategic view point and a position of accountability. I see a crucial part of our role as providing the senior leaders with a place where they can think - away from the hustle and bustle of daily school life, taking important quieter moments to reflect, celebrate, and plan for the future.

We meet regularly with the Headteacher and other members of staff and are here to support, guide, question and be a solid presence and consistent reminder of the key aims and objectives, ensuring that everything we do at St Nicholas 'is done with love' as per our school vision.

Chloe Mills, Chair of Governors
